Authorities dismissed sub-inspector Suman Jha after allegations surfaced that he stole around 1.5 kg of gold and ₹15 lakh during a police raid. The SI Suman Jha Gold Cash Theft incident happened in Vaishali district during a search operation at a suspect’s house.
During the raid, the police team recovered stolen items, electronics, jewellery, and cash. However, reports later revealed that about 1.5 kg of gold and ₹15 lakh were missing from the seizure list. Locals and photos from the raid exposed the discrepancy and raised serious allegations against Jha.
