Siddaramaiah Rules Out Leadership Change in Karnataka

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday firmly ruled out any possibility of a leadership change, amid growing speculation triggered by a group of MLAs loyal to Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar camping in Delhi. Speaking in Mysuru, Siddaramaiah reiterated that he would not only continue in office but also present the next two State Budgets, signalling stability in the government’s leadership.
The MLAs’ presence in Delhi has fuelled talk of internal pressure within the Congress for a potential shift in the top post. However, Siddaramaiah dismissed the rumours as politically motivated and stressed that the government remained united in delivering on its commitments.
Party insiders suggest the Delhi visit was meant to communicate concerns to the high command, though no formal demand has been made. The Chief Minister’s assertive statement is expected to reassure supporters and quell speculation over the Congress leadership’s immediate future in Karnataka.
