The SIR Survey in Telangana will start on June 25 and continue until July 24, according to State Election Officer Sudarshan Reddy. The SIR Survey in Telangana aims to update and verify voter information through a statewide door-to-door exercise.
Election officials have planned the survey in three phases. The first phase focuses on assigning responsibilities to district election officers, supervisors, and Booth Level Officers (BLOs). Authorities will also finalize operational plans for the survey.
In the second phase, officials will train thousands of BLOs, supervisors, and election staff. The training will cover voter enumeration, form processing, and online data entry procedures.
During the final phase, authorities will print and distribute voter enumeration forms. These documents will include voter identification numbers, photographs, QR codes, and other relevant details.
BLOs will visit households across the state from June 25 to July 24. Officials will publish the draft voter list on July 31 and accept objections and corrections until August 30. The final voter list will be released on October 1.
