Six unidentified masked men created panic in Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Complex in Gandhinagar after they vandalised two parked cars around 2 am. CCTV footage shows two attackers wielding knives while the group smashed vehicle windows before fleeing.
Victims said they had no prior dispute with the men, suggesting the assault was random. Police teams from Gandhinagar Police Station are analysing CCTV footage and appealing for public information to identify the six attackers.
The incident occurred shortly after another violent attack in the city, where 20–25 masked men armed with swords, sticks, and baseball bats stormed Magic Spot Café in Misrod. CCTV visuals captured them rushing in and destroying property within minutes, forcing customers to flee for safety.
Police have registered an FIR naming five suspects in the café case and ruled out robbery as a motive. Two individuals have been detained for questioning. Officials said the attack appears linked to personal enmity or business rivalry, with three police stations jointly investigating using CCTV and witness accounts.
