Andhra Pradesh Minister Atchannaidu has asserted in the Assembly that the government is ready to hold discussions on all key issues, including the shortage of urea. He cautioned YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders to stop spreading misinformation and urged them to participate responsibly in legislative proceedings.
Atchannaidu stated that YSRCP MLAs are avoiding the Assembly on flimsy pretexts, and their disqualification issue will be decided by the Speaker. Taking a dig at YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said the people have already sidelined him as an ineffective leader.
He further criticized Jagan for repeatedly demanding recognition as Leader of Opposition instead of addressing public concerns. Atchannaidu advised him to attend the Assembly sessions and debate pressing issues, rather than clinging to the opposition status. His remarks added to the ongoing political heat between the ruling coalition and YSRCP in the House.
