SPREE in A.P. is gaining fast momentum, with 2.5 lakh workers already registered under the scheme. ESIC State Regional Director Malla Rama Rao shared the update and urged employers to act before the deadline.
SPREE in A.P. aims to bring more workers into the social security system in a simple and stress-free way. Employers and workers can complete registration through the Shram Suvidha, ESIC, or MCA portals. The current enrolment window will close on December 31.
Mr. Rao said many small and medium businesses have responded positively. The simplified process has reduced paperwork and saved time, which has encouraged wider participation.
ESIC teams are running awareness drives across districts. These include workshops, online guidance, and field visits. Officials explain how registration helps workers access medical care, maternity benefits, and insurance protection.
Employers have been asked not to wait until the last minute. Early registration helps avoid verification issues. Workers were advised to keep basic documents ready to prevent errors during submission.
Mr. Rao added that ESIC will continue improving digital services and outreach to support both industries and workers in the coming months.
