AMARAVATI: SRM University-AP held its fifth convocation ceremony, celebrating the success of the graduating class of 2025. The event honoured 1,877 graduates and 39 doctoral scholars in the presence of dignitaries, faculty, and parents. Prof (Dr.) Kotha Madhu Murthy, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), attended as the chief guest. Founder Chancellor Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar, Pro-Chancellor Dr. P. Sathyanarayanan, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ch. Satish Kumar also graced the occasion.
Welcoming the graduates, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Satish Kumar spoke about the university’s steady progress in academics, research, innovation, and community engagement. He commended students for their dedication and achievements.
Chief Guest Prof. Madhu Murthy urged students to use their education for leadership, service, and social transformation. He said Andhra Pradesh’s future depends on a skilled and innovative workforce ready for an AI-driven world.
Founder Chancellor Dr. Paarivendhar praised the university’s role in shaping global thinkers, while Pro-Chancellor Dr. Sathyanarayanan encouraged continuous learning and responsible citizenship. The ceremony concluded with the graduation pledge, national anthem, and vote of thanks, marking a milestone in the university’s journey.
