Supaul murder sent shockwaves through a quiet village in Bihar after a younger brother killed his elder brother over a property dispute. The Supaul murder happened in Kamat Kishunganj village, leaving the family and locals in deep fear.
The victim, Arvind Sah, was sleeping at home with his wife when his younger brother, Gajendra Sah, arrived late at night. He entered the house and fired a gunshot at Arvind’s head. The attack happened in front of Arvind’s wife, who screamed for help.
Villagers rushed to the spot after hearing the gunshot. Police from the local station reached quickly and secured the area. The body was sent for post-mortem at the district hospital in Supaul.
Family members said the brothers had ongoing arguments over land. They accused the younger brother of acting out of greed. Arvind is survived by his wife and two young daughters, aged five and three.
Police have registered a murder case and started a manhunt for the accused. Officers are collecting evidence and questioning relatives to trace his movements.
