Three members of a family died under suspicious deaths in Purnia, Bihar, leaving the district in shock. The deceased were identified as Naveen Kushwaha, 52, his wife Kanchan Mala, 48, and their daughter Tannu Priya. Naveen was the elder brother of JDU leader Niranjan Kushwaha.
According to Niranjan Kushwaha, the tragic event began when his niece slipped from the stairs. While trying to save her, Naveen also fell. Both sustained severe head injuries. Kanchan Mala, upon witnessing the incident, suffered a heart attack. All three were rushed to Galaxy Hospital in Purnia, where doctors declared them dead.
The police from Hat police station and Sadar SDPO quickly reached the spot and began an investigation. The bodies were sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. Local leaders, including MP Pappu Yadav and Minister Leshi Singh, also visited the scene.
These suspicious deaths in Purnia have drawn public attention due to the tragic sequence of events and the involvement of a political family. The post-mortem results are awaited to confirm the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
