Syed Ata Hasnain sworn in as Bihar Governor during oath ceremony in Patna

Syed Ata Hasnain sworn in as Bihar Governor on Saturday during a formal ceremony in Patna. The swearing-in event took place at Raj Bhavan, where senior political leaders and officials attended the programme.

Former Indian Army officer Syed Ata Hasnain took the oath of office and secrecy as the new governor of Bihar. Chief Justice of the Patna High Court administered the oath during the ceremony.

Syed Ata Hasnain sworn in as Bihar Governor marks an important leadership change in the state. He replaced Arif Mohammad Khan, who previously held the constitutional post.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, deputy chief ministers, ministers, and several senior government officials. Many leaders congratulated the new governor and expressed hope that his experience would help the state move forward.

Hasnain served in the Indian Army for nearly four decades and held several important positions during his military career. His appointment brings a decorated military leader to one of the top constitutional roles in Bihar.
