]]> The ongoing Vinayaka Chaturthi and Navaratri celebrations, combined with heavy rains and floods, have slightly reduced the number of pilgrims visiting Tirumala. On Tuesday, devotees waiting for Sarva Darshan without tokens had to queue in six compartments. According to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the estimated waiting time was eight hours.

TTD added that pilgrims holding Sarva Darshan tokens waited 2 to 4 hours. Those opting for the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan faced a shorter wait of 1 to 3 hours. Despite the weather, the temple continues to attract a steady flow of visitors during the festive season.

On Monday (September 1), 65,384 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Of these, 22,512 devotees offered tonsures as part of their vows, showing strong devotion despite challenging conditions.

The temple’s Hundi collection reflected this faith. TTD reported ₹4.03 crore in donations on the same day. These figures highlight the unwavering commitment of devotees visiting the hill shrine.
