The Electoral Registration Officer filed the complaint. Police said she created a fake Aadhaar card, tampered with records, and added her name to the Mansa Assembly constituency voter list, even though she lives abroad.

Mansa DSP Boota Singh Gill confirmed the case after an SDM inquiry. Police accused her of fraudulently making and using the documents.

The complainant, Gudiya Devi of Ward No. 7, alleged that leaders collected ₹200 from her. They promised to help her apply under the Mai Bahan Yojana, which assured ₹2,500 to women. She said the leaders misled her and collected money without providing any benefits.

The complaint directly names RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav, former RJD MLA Rishi Mishra, and former Congress candidate Maskoor Ahmad Usmani. According to the woman, the accused also gathered Aadhaar numbers, bank account details, and mobile numbers of women in her locality.

Police confirmed the FIR and said an investigation is in progress. The case has triggered political tensions as the state moves closer to assembly polls. Leaders of rival parties have already started using the incident to attack their opponents during the campaign.
