The first case involves Jagai Ram, a revenue employee from Ramnagar. The vigilance team caught him while he accepted a bribe of ₹5,000. He had allegedly demanded ₹10,000 for issuing a land receipt. During the inquiry, his claims were proven false, and the District Magistrate dismissed him.

The second case involves Abdul Samad Ansari from Piprasi. He had issued receipts for decades in the Bagaha region and was accused of tampering with official records and committing fraud in land documents. Multiple allegations were confirmed during the hearing, leading to his removal.

Officials said the administration will not spare corrupt employees, even if cases are old. The action has created concern among government staff in the district.
