On this occasion, Gopireddy said:
During the YSR Congress government, farmers were provided with Rs. 13,500 per year as aid of Rs. 67,500, and now the Chandrababu government is providing only Rs. 7,000, and he accused 7 lakh farmers of being left behind. He criticized that although 75,000 tons of urea are currently required, only 23,000 tons are available, and that the government is discriminating against farmers belonging to the YSR Congress Party by not providing fertilizers.

He demanded that the government take action against the black market in the private market. He said that the government should respond before the party takes the road for the farmers and provide fertilizers equally to every farmer without the party stamp.
