]]> Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha has urged the state government to increase compensation for cyclone-affected farmers. She stated that the announced ₹10,000 per acre is inadequate and demanded ₹50,000 per acre as relief. Heavy rains have destroyed the hard-earned crops of farmers across several districts, she said.

Kavitha shared a video from Husnabad in Siddipet district, showing a woman farmer named Tharavva pleading with officials over her crop loss. She expressed deep concern over the condition of farmers who lost their seasonal yield to severe rains and floods.

According to Kavitha, nearly 4.5 lakh acres of farmland have been damaged across Telangana due to the recent cyclone. She emphasized the urgent need for government support to help farmers recover from the devastating losses.

Kavitha appealed to the state to provide free seeds and fertilizers for the upcoming Yasangi season, in addition to expediting the release of the Rythu Bharosa assistance. She reiterated that the government must act immediately to restore confidence among distressed farmers.
