He stated that the Centre is strongly supporting the development of both Telugu states through major funding and infrastructure projects.

Speaking at the Rozgar Mela event in Guntakal, Bandi Sanjay said Modi 3.0 benefits AP most because the state has received projects worth more than Rs 3 lakh crore in the last two years. He added that the double-engine government helped speed up development works in Andhra Pradesh.

Bandi Sanjay also said the Central government spent nearly Rs 12 lakh crore on Telangana’s development over the past 12 years. He claimed people in Telangana also want a double-engine government for faster growth.

During the event, the minister distributed appointment letters to 120 candidates. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for creating government jobs through Rozgar Melas without corruption or political influence.

He argued that the previous government had already operated effectively from Amaravati, and there was no immediate need for constructing new structures.

Sajjala added that while former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had plans to administer from Visakhapatnam , elections prevented that shift. He maintained that if YSRCP had returned to power, both Visakhapatnam and Amaravati would have witnessed development.

On the other hand, he questioned the practicality of large-scale investments in Amaravati, asking whether industries would truly be established in the capital region. Criticizing the financial strain, Sajjala noted that nearly ₹1 lakh crore in debt was already incurred under the name of capital development. He stated that while the central government’s aid is welcome, future planning must avoid wasteful expenditure.

Speaking at a Way2News conclave , he recalled that the TDP had once accused the YSRCP government of pushing Andhra Pradesh towards bankruptcy through welfare schemes. However, he insisted that every rupee spent under YSRCP rule was visible in tangible progress.

Buggana challenged the current coalition government, saying that it had promised more development-oriented schemes than YSRCP. He demanded that if the government cannot fulfill those promises, it should admit its failure.

Highlighting financial performance, Buggana pointed out that GST collections increased during the YSRCP tenure, questioning why they have not risen under the present administration. His comments are part of YSRCP’s broader criticism of the ruling alliance, accusing it of neglecting development while focusing on privatization and political gains.

Minister Kollu Ravindra strongly criticized YSRCP leaders, saying they refuse to listen but start crying when challenged. Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, he said coalition leaders are maintaining restraint, which is why YSRCP leaders are still roaming the streets. Ravindra alleged that Jagan Reddy continues to attack the coalition out of frustration with the public’s support.

He said Jagan should feel ashamed for politicizing fertilizer supply. The government, Ravindra added, is ensuring urea supply as required and supporting farmers. He accused Jagan of trying to provoke people with conspiracies, assuring that farmers need not worry because the government stands firmly with them.

On medical colleges, Ravindra dismissed Jagan’s charges of privatization. He demanded Jagan explain how many colleges he completed in five years. He specifically challenged him to debate the Bandar Medical College works. Ravindra clarified that the government is developing medical colleges under the PPP model to improve infrastructure.

The minister alleged that Jagan incurred ₹6,000 crore debt in the name of medical colleges. He said once the works are completed, colleges will return to government control, making the accusations meaningless. Ravindra also accused Jagan of blocking PG seats and described his governance as destructive and shameful.

Aug 29: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced the introduction of Family Cards, a new initiative to ensure transparency in welfare delivery. Similar to ration cards and Aadhaar, each household will now receive a Family Card reflecting the welfare schemes and benefits availed by the family.

Opposition parties had earlier accused Chandrababu of neglecting welfare in favor of development. However, his actions since assuming office have contradicted these claims. Soon after the coalition came to power, pensions were increased from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 in one stroke, a move welcomed by beneficiaries. Pending dues were also cleared.

The CM gave special focus to his “Super Six” schemes, including free gas cylinders, Anna Canteens, pensions, financial aid for farmers, and free bus travel for women. Under the “Thalliki Vandhanam” scheme, mothers received ₹13,000 per child. Farmers benefited through Annadata Sukhibhava combined with PM-Kisan support. Chandrababu emphasized that both development and welfare must progress together.

The Family Card is designed to highlight how much each household has gained from government schemes. Officials said the move would increase awareness, ensure accountability, and strengthen the government’s connection with the people.
