The storm is expected to hit the coast between October 28 and 29. Heavy rains may lash Konaseema, Krishna, and Bapatla districts on Saturday. The IMD named the cyclone ‘Monta’. Tamil Nadu is already seeing heavy rain. Chennai and Tiruvallur faced waterlogging after downpours. The state issued an orange alert for seven districts for the next 48 hours.
