SCF President Pardeep Dhawan welcomed the members and shared the forum’s roadmap for the coming year. He said the Senior Citizens Forum vows monthly meets so that no senior feels lonely or ignored. Moreover, he stressed that regular interaction strengthens emotional health and creates a strong support system during difficult times.

Senior member Harish Kumar underlined the importance of elders in guiding younger generations. He said retirement should mark a new beginning, not isolation. According to him, seniors must share their experience to build values and discipline among youth.

Chief Guest Dr. Kamal Baghi, Managing Director of Anil Baghi Hospital, praised the forum’s work and announced his decision to join SCF as an active member. Drawing from 43 years of medical service, he expressed concern over rising health challenges. Importantly, he announced that Anil Baghi Hospital will keep a dedicated ambulance on round-the-clock standby for senior citizens.

The programme also featured cultural performances, storytelling, and music by members. The forum honoured K.K. Jaidker, a retired teacher couple, for their contribution to education. The event concluded with a community lunch, strengthening bonds of togetherness.
