]]> Andhra Pradesh continues to witness intense rainfall across several districts as a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal drives unstable weather. Home Minister Anitha reviewed the situation with top officials and instructed district collectors to stay prepared for emergencies. Control rooms are being set up in all districts, and residents in low-lying areas along the Krishna river basin have been advised to remain alert. The minister directed field-level staff to stay available for coordination and ordered the immediate removal of dangerous hoardings and fallen trees to avoid accidents.

To strengthen disaster preparedness, Andhra Pradesh heavy rainfall alert has put National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams on standby for quick relief operations. Anitha stressed that timely communication with the public remains crucial during the ongoing weather challenge.

Simultaneously, Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar conducted a teleconference with electricity department officials to address power-related issues. Officials reported only minor disruptions but confirmed preventive measures like suspending power supply in high-water zones of North Andhra. Gottipati urged teams to caution people against electrical hazards, especially while transporting Ganesha idols. Both departments emphasized 24/7 monitoring until the heavy rains subside.
