Bihar Congress Candidate List 2025: First 48 Names Announced

The Bihar Congress Candidate List 2025 is out now. Congress released its first list with 48 candidates for the Bihar Assembly Elections. The list came out even before the Grand Alliance finalized seat sharing.

Rajesh Ram will contest from Kutumba. Jayesh Mangal Singh will fight from Bagaha, and Amit Giri from Nautan. Abhishek Ranjan will contest from Chanpatia, and Wasi Ahmed from Bettiah. Other names include Shashi Bhushan Rai from Govindganj and Subodh Mandal from Fulparas.

Shakeel Ahmed Khan will represent Kadwa, and Poonam Paswan will fight from Leprosy. Mithilesh Kumar Choudhary from Benipur and Aditya Kumar Raja from Lalganj are also on the list. Congress leaders Krishna Allavaru, Shakeel Ahmed, and Rajesh Ram announced the list in Patna.

They have already started giving election symbols to candidates. The Bihar Congress Candidate List 2025 shows a mix of youth, women, and experienced leaders. Congress wants to strengthen its base before the alliance decides on final seat sharing.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly has approved an amendment to the Village and Ward Secretariat Bill, introducing minor changes in the duties of secretariat staff. Currently, in ward secretariats, the Digital Secretary oversees educational matters, which has sometimes created obstacles in digital processes.

The latest amendment proposes that, similar to the structure in village secretariats, educational responsibilities in wards will now be assigned to the Welfare Secretary. This adjustment aims to streamline administrative functions, reduce workload on digital officials, and enhance efficiency in governance.

By clearly delineating duties between Digital Secretaries and Welfare Secretaries, the bill seeks to address operational challenges and ensure smooth functioning of local governance structures. The amendment reflects the government’s focus on improving administrative processes and resolving governance-related issues at the grassroots level, ultimately benefiting citizens and enhancing service delivery in wards and villages.

AP Speaker Urges YCP MLAs to Attend Assembly, Focus on Public Issues

Andhra Pradesh Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu responded to recent comments by TDP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy , who challenged Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on the issue of granting opposition status to the YCP. The Speaker addressed the matter on social media, urging YCP MLAs to participate actively in the Assembly rather than focusing on political disputes.

He specifically requested 11 YCP legislators to attend the Assembly sessions and concentrate on discussing public welfare and pressing issues affecting their constituencies . Speaking as the presiding officer, Patrudu emphasized that he ensures equal opportunities for all MLAs to voice their concerns and participate in debates.
