The commissioner clarified that the only official UDGAM link is https://udgam.rbi.org.in. He stressed that no other link should be opened. He reminded the public that the RBI never asks for OTPs or passwords. Therefore, people must avoid sharing sensitive information with anyone, even if the message appears genuine.

Sajjanar appealed to citizens to contact their bank directly if they receive suspicious messages. He added that victims should act fast. People can call 1930 or file a complaint on cybercrime.gov.in to report fraud attempts. He said quick action increases the chance of stopping financial loss.
