Dense fog has covered several parts of Bihar, including Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, and nearby areas. Visibility drops sharply in the morning, which is causing trouble for road, rail, and air travel. Drivers are moving slowly on highways, while trains are running late in some regions.

Temperatures have remained low throughout the day. Night temperatures have fallen close to single digits in a few places, increasing the chill factor. Cold winds in the evening are making the weather feel harsher, especially for children and the elderly.

Weather experts say dry conditions will continue for the next few days. Fog is likely to appear again every morning, while cold wave conditions may intensify at night. Officials advise people to wear warm clothes, avoid unnecessary travel in foggy hours, and follow traffic safety rules.

The IMD will keep monitoring the situation and issue updates if conditions change.
