]]> Union Minister and LJP (Ramvilas) chief Chirag Paswan said consensus in alliance is essential for deciding the Bihar chief ministerial face. He confirmed that Nitish Kumar will remain the NDA’s CM candidate for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Paswan reminded that when his party rejoined the NDA, the agreement was clear that Nitish Kumar would lead. He added that no single party can dictate such decisions.

Recently, posters in Patna projecting him as a possible CM face triggered political debate. However, Paswan dismissed the speculation and stated he has no personal ambition for the post. His focus, he stressed, is on the “Bihar First, Bihari First” agenda, which aims to transform Bihar into a developed state.

Answering questions about his future claim, Paswan said this is not the right time for such discussions. The alliance, he underlined, is preparing to fight the 2025 elections unitedly under Nitish Kumar’s leadership. His remarks show the NDA’s effort to avoid internal rifts and project unity ahead of the polls.
