]]> In the Sikta Assembly constituency in Bihar, the Sikta Assembly Seat Result 2025 delivered a surprise as Sammridh Verma of the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) defeated the incumbent Birendra Prasad Gupta of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) (CPI-ML). Sammridh Verma secured 97,173 votes, while independent candidate Firoz Ahmed got 50,029 votes. Birendra Prasad Gupta trailed with 37,431 votes. The margin of victory for Sammridh was 47,144 votes — a decisive win in the Sikta Assembly Seat Result 2025.

In the previous election of 2020, Birendra Prasad Gupta had unseated five-time former MLA Dilip Verma. Now, the Sikta Assembly Seat Result 2025 marks a swing back to JDU.
