Modi Inaugurates Panchjanya Kurukshetra Tour with a visit to the Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra. The centre offers an immersive experience through installations that present key moments from the epic. Modi explored these exhibits and highlighted the Mahabharata’s lasting influence on Indian civilisation.

The Prime Minister will also attend a major programme dedicated to the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur. He will release a special coin and commemorative stamp to honour the ninth Sikh Guru’s supreme sacrifice. Modi said the tribute reflects India’s deep respect for the Guru’s teachings and courage.

Later in the evening, he will perform darshan and pooja at the sacred Brahma Sarovar. His visit aligns with the International Gita Mahotsav, which is underway in Kurukshetra from November 15 to December 5.

Modi reached Kurukshetra after hoisting the saffron ‘Dharma Dhwaj’ atop the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple’s 191-foot shikhar in Ayodhya. The flag features sacred symbols—Om, the Sun, and the Kovidara tree—representing ancient Sanatan values.

Addressing devotees, Modi said India and the world have become “Ram-may.” He described the moment as one that heals centuries-old wounds and fulfils a 500-year civilisational resolve.
