The Tarn Taran bypoll results also confirmed that Sandhu kept a steady lead through almost all 16 rounds of counting. Celebrations broke out at the counting centre as AAP workers danced to dhol beats in Tarn Taran.

SAD candidate Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa fought hard but finished second. Independent candidate Mandeep Singh, supported by the Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De), also stayed in the contest. Congress’ Karanbir Singh Burj and BJP’s Harjit Singh Sandhu were among the 15 candidates who contested the seat.

The counting began at 8 am at the International College of Nursing, Piddi. The voter turnout reached 60.95 per cent, showing strong public interest in the bypoll. The seat became vacant after the death of AAP MLA Kashmir Singh Sohal in June.

With this win, AAP cleared a major political test and strengthened its position in Punjab ahead of future battles.

Vote counting continued for the Jubilee Hills by-election, which drew interest across Telangana. Congress candidate Naveen Yadav kept a steady lead from the first round. By the end of the eighth round, his majority crossed 22,000 votes. Only two rounds remained, and BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy received nearly 9,100 votes. The gap surprised many as the BJP holds power at the Centre.

Deepak Reddy left the counting centre after the seventh round. Later, he spoke to the media and raised strong concerns. He said the election saw heavy money flow and misuse of power. He also claimed that the final three rounds would favour the BJP. Despite the low numbers, he expressed hope that he would secure his deposit.

The BJP candidate also criticised the ruling party for influencing the process. He stated that voters observed these issues throughout the campaign. He added that the party would review the entire polling pattern after the results.

Meanwhile, Congress supporters celebrated early trends. They expected a clear victory for Naveen Yadav as his lead kept increasing. With only a few rounds left, the by-election generated high political tension in Hyderabad. Both parties prepared for the final results and possible post-counting statements.

Rajasthan Anta Bypoll Results created early excitement as Congress candidate Pramod Jain Bhaya moved ahead from the first round. He led by 614 votes after two rounds of counting, which boosted the confidence of Congress workers. Rajasthan Anta Bypoll Results also showed Independent candidate Naresh Meena in the second position, while BJP’s Morpal Saman followed in third.

Counting teams began the process with postal ballots. They then moved to electronic voting machines to speed up the updates. Officials planned 20 rounds of counting for the final result. They expect the outcome by Friday afternoon.

A total of 15 candidates contested the Anta seat in Rajasthan’s Baran district. The constituency recorded a strong voter turnout of 80.21% on November 11. Local people showed high interest in the bypoll because the seat holds political value for all major parties.

As counting continued, party supporters gathered near the centres. They cheered after every round and waited for the next update. Many political observers felt the trend could remain steady if Bhaya kept his early momentum.

The bypoll result will shape future political strategy in Anta as all parties aim to strengthen their position in the region.

The Jubilee Hills by-election result is being announced as counting continues. Votes from the Sheikhpet Division have been completed. In the second round, the Congress registered 9,691 votes, while the BRS secured 8,609 votes. Together, both rounds have given the Congress a lead of 1,144 votes.

By the end of two rounds, the BJP received only 307 votes. A total of 31,182 votes were polled in the Sheikhpet Division. A slight advantage has been recorded for the Congress here. The party had focused on this division from the beginning and expected a larger lead. However, it managed to stay ahead with a margin of 1,144 votes over the BRS.

The BRS expected silent voters to support its candidate. Those expectations were not met, resulting in a setback for the party. With the counting in Sheikhpet completed, attention has now shifted to the Vengalrao Nagar and Somajiguda divisions.

These two divisions have a higher presence of settlers and upper-middle-class voters. The direction of these votes could impact the final result. Whether the BRS candidate can overtake the Congress will be known as the next rounds are counted.
