In his suicide note, the teenager expressed deep pain, apologising to his family and stating that his teachers had been a source of torment. He also expressed a wish for his organs to be donated, highlighting his anguish even in his final moments.

Following these serious accusations, the school has suspended four staff members, including two teachers, the coordinator for Class 9–10, and the headmistress. Meanwhile, Delhi’s Education Department has set up a five‑member panel to conduct a “thorough, objective and time-bound” inquiry into the incident and the school’s role.

Police say they are also cross-verifying the CCTV visuals with statements from classmates and other students to piece together what happened before the tragedy. The FIR has been filed under abetment to suicide and common intention. Investigators are examining all angles, including the conduct of the accused teachers, the student’s own mental state, and whether adequate steps were taken by the school to protect and support vulnerable students.

This incident has sparked outrage among parents, students, and alumni, who are demanding accountability and greater sensitivity toward student mental health. The probe is being closely watched, and its outcome could have broader implications for teacher conduct and school safety policies in the capital.

Eyewitnesses said the clash between the bus crews continued for several minutes before one of the employees pulled out a gun and opened fire. Makhan Singh collapsed instantly. He was rushed to a private hospital but was declared dead.
