Bihar Exit Polls 2025 bring intense curiosity across the state as several agencies, including Axis My India and Today’s Chanakya, prepare to release their latest predictions. After voting ended on Tuesday evening, many agencies shared preliminary data hinting at a possible comeback for Nitish Kumar and the NDA. However, a few surveys suggest that Tejashwi Yadav’s Grand Alliance could still surprise everyone.

Bihar Exit Polls 2025 reports remind voters of the 2020 elections when major pollsters like Axis and Chanakya failed to predict the actual outcome. In 2020, Nitish Kumar’s NDA won 125 seats, while the Grand Alliance managed 110—contrary to most exit poll forecasts that favored Tejashwi Yadav. Smaller agencies such as DV Research, C-Voter, and ETG also made varied predictions, with only a couple coming close to the real results.

As the new exit polls arrive today, observers remain cautious. Bihar’s political history shows that poll numbers often differ sharply from real outcomes. The focus now is on whether modern data tools can improve accuracy and truly capture Bihar’s changing voter mood.

Democracy was born on the soil of Bihar 2500 years ago in Vaishali. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan praised Bihar as a land of wisdom, where great minds like Buddha, Chanakya, Aryabhatta, and Mahavira were born. He called Bihar a land of geniuses and knowledge that has inspired the world.

Speaking at the “Unmesh: Celebration of Expression” program in Patna, the Vice President highlighted Bihar’s contribution to culture, talent, and democracy. He said Siddhartha attained enlightenment here and became Buddha, showing Bihar’s spiritual legacy.

It was his first visit to Bihar after becoming Vice President. He admired the gathering of over 500 thinkers, writers, and scholars from more than 100 languages who came together to promote culture. He also expressed happiness that Nalanda University is being revived as a global learning hub.

Calling Bihar the mother of talents, he noted that the state has given India many IAS and IPS officers. He praised Bihar’s rich artistic traditions, especially Madhubani art, which reflects the cultural depth of the state. Bihar, he said, remains a breeding ground of talent and creativity.

In the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case, YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy, who was recently released on interim bail, faces a fresh hearing. The ACB Court had earlier granted him interim bail to cast his vote in the Vice-Presidential election, with a direction to surrender at Rajahmundry Central Jail on September 11. His lawyer argued for regular bail before the court, which adjourned the hearing to September 12.

Meanwhile, the court also postponed the hearing on co-accused Chanakya’s bail plea to September 11. In another development, three accused in the same case — Dhanunjay Reddy, Krishnamohan, and Balaji Govindappa (A31, A32, A33) — were granted regular bail by the ACB Court. They were released from jail on September 7.

However, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) challenged their bail in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking a stay order. The SIT also requested the court to deny default bail petitions of other accused. The High Court, after hearing the matter, issued notices to the recently released individuals.

Additionally, the SIT urged that bail not be granted to other accused in the liquor scam case. The High Court adjourned further hearings in the matter to September 11. This case continues to draw attention as multiple bail petitions and legal challenges unfold.
