The incident happened late at night when criminals tried to abduct Dr Kumar. He saved his life by jumping out of the moving car after it met with an accident. His quick action helped him escape the attackers.

Police began an intensive investigation and soon uncovered a larger conspiracy. Officers arrested six people, including an anaesthesiologist from Patna, who allegedly planned the crime. The accused doctor reportedly hired criminals to carry out the kidnapping.

Investigators said the motive was financial dispute and ransom. During raids, police tracked suspects across Bihar and Haryana. Two accused suffered injuries when they tried to resist arrest.
