The Chhapra teacher murder has shocked the Saran district of Bihar. A 45-year-old teacher, Sanoj Kumar, was returning home from school on his bike when two men on a motorcycle followed him. They shot him in the head from behind near the Devi Sthan area of Kharika Bazaar. The Chhapra teacher murder has created fear among locals and raised questions about safety.

Sanoj worked at a primary school, and his wife also teaches at the same school. He was seriously injured after the attack. Locals rushed him to Sonpur for treatment. Doctors later referred him to Hajipur Sadar Hospital, where he was declared dead. Police say the murder may be linked to an old dispute, but the exact reason is still under investigation.

Police recovered a spent cartridge and his bike from the scene. Station Officer Anuradha Kumari inspected the area and spoke to nearby residents to gather clues.

Sanoj was the son of retired railway employee Panna Lal and lived in Kharika village. His body was sent to Chapra Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. After hearing the news, the entire village went into mourning. His parents, wife, children, and other family members were heartbroken and inconsolable.

PM Narendra Modi will hold two major rallies in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra today as part of the Bihar Election 2025 campaign. These will be his third and fourth rallies during the assembly election drive. His earlier rallies took place in Samastipur and Begusarai on October 24th.

PM Modi will seek public support for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates across nearby districts. Senior leaders from all NDA constituent parties will also attend these events. Extensive preparations have been made for both rallies, which are expected to attract large crowds.

Following these public meetings, the Prime Minister will return to Bihar on November 2nd to continue campaigning. On that day, he is scheduled to address rallies in Ara and Nawada, along with a grand roadshow in Patna.

The series of rallies mark an important phase in the NDA’s Bihar campaign as the alliance seeks to strengthen its base across key regions. The focus of the speeches is likely to be development, welfare schemes, and regional progress under NDA governance.

Bhojpuri star and singer Khesari Lal Yadav Chhapra seat is now the latest buzz in Bihar politics. The popular actor has officially entered politics, contesting the Khesari Lal Yadav Chhapra seat on an RJD ticket. Initially, the Rashtriya Janata Dal had allotted the seat to his wife Chanda Devi. However, a technical error in her voter record prevented her from filing her nomination.

After discussions with party leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, RJD swiftly changed its decision and handed the ticket to Khesari Lal Yadav himself. Khesari, who hails from Dhanadih village in Saran district, filed his nomination papers on Friday in Patna, officially beginning his political journey.

Sources say Khesari initially wanted to contest from Ekma, but RJD fielded him from Chhapra. The actor’s popularity has already heated the political atmosphere. Khesari will now face BJP’s Chhoti Kumari, a former district council president and wife of BJP leader Dharmendra Shah. The contest between a film icon and a local political face is drawing wide attention, adding a celebrity edge to the Chhapra race.

The move aims to find winning candidates before the next elections.

Several constituencies, especially in Chhapra, are under review. Dr. Ramanuj Prasad from Sonpur, Chhote Lal Rai from Parsa, and Jitendra Kumar Rai from Madhaura may lose their tickets. The party may also shift some seats to allies. Last year, RJD saw defections when six MLAs, including Chetan Anand and Bharat Bind, joined the NDA.

Adding to the shake-up, Tej Pratap Yadav, MLA from Hasanpur and Lalu Prasad’s elder son, was expelled for six years. New faces will replace many of these names as Lalu Prasad Yadav personally oversees the final list.
