]]> Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the state aims to build a poverty-free society inspired by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. He inaugurated the new super specialty eye care center at Shankara Eye Hospital near Pedakakani in Guntur. The CM praised the hospital’s long service to the poor through free eye surgeries.

Naidu announced a new “Sanjeevani” digital health project with Tata Group. It will deliver medical services to every doorstep across Andhra Pradesh. The government is also digitizing health records of five crore citizens to promote preventive and curative care.

He said a Universal Health Insurance Policy will soon offer ₹2.5 lakh coverage per person and up to ₹25 lakh per family. Naidu appreciated Shankara Eye Hospital’s “Gift of Vision” and “Rainbow” programs for child eye care.

The CM also revealed plans to build Venkateswara temples in every state capital and 5,000 rural areas. He thanked the Kanchi Peeth for supporting Vedic education and dharma promotion.

Chandrababu Naidu has written to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, urging the allocation of an additional Rs. 5,000 crores under the Special Assistance Capital Investment Scheme (SASCI). So far, the state has received Rs. 2,010 crores under this initiative. However, CM Naidu emphasized the need for further financial support to sustain the state’s ongoing development projects.

In his communication, CM Naidu also requested the release of Rs. 250 crores for the Single Nodal Agency Incentive Scheme, aiming to streamline financial disbursements. He asked the Centre to issue the necessary orders promptly to facilitate the funds.

Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of swiftly finalizing the operational guidelines for the Purvodya Scheme, an initiative announced by the Centre. This scheme is expected to drive economic growth and development across various sectors in the state.

As Andhra Pradesh focuses on enhancing infrastructure and industrial projects, CM Naidu’s appeal seeks to further bolster the state’s position as a growing economic powerhouse in the region.
