The meeting, scheduled for 10 a.m., will see top leaders, including party president Mallikarjun Kharge and former chief Rahul Gandhi, brainstorm on campaign strategy and the issue of alleged “vote chori.”

The Congress CWC meeting in Patna comes just days after Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra,’ which boosted the morale of the party’s cadre in Bihar. Leaders expect the session to address not only the Bihar elections but also broader political challenges in future polls.

The Congress to hold CWC meeting in Patna also comes amid seat-sharing talks within the Mahagathbandhan alliance. Sources said the party will focus on shaping a united front against the BJP while framing its campaign narrative around protecting voter rights.

On Tuesday (September 16, 2025), the Congress announced its Pradesh Election Committee for Bihar. The 39-member panel includes Bihar unit chief Rajesh Ram, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, and Madan Mohan Jha. All MPs, MLAs, MLCs, AICC secretaries, and heads of frontal organisations will also be part of the committee.

Bihar polls are expected in November, and the Congress aims to sharpen its strategy well ahead of time.
