Residents in the Babubarhi area of Madhubani district complained about the shortage. They say agencies often do not have cylinders. However, some illegal sellers offer cylinders at very high prices.

The Bihar government has responded to the situation. Officials say the state has enough LPG stock for domestic use. They asked people not to panic or crowd gas agencies.

Authorities also warned traders against black marketing. The administration has started inspections at gas storage centers and agencies. Officials said they will take strict action against anyone involved in illegal sales.
