Rajnath flags alarming trend by referring to the November 10 car bomb blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. Investigators found that doctors planned and executed the attack. “Those who write ‘Rx’ had RDX in their hands,” Singh said. He stressed that knowledge must go along with character and ethics.

The Defence Minister said education should not focus only on careers and income. Instead, it should build morality, responsibility, and human values. Degrees without ethics, he warned, can become dangerous.

The blast killed 15 people when an explosives-laden car detonated outside the Red Fort. Police identified the driver as Dr. Umar-un-Nabi. The investigation exposed a white-collar terror module. Authorities later arrested several doctors, including Muzammil Ganai, Adeel Rather, and Shaheena Saeed.

Meanwhile, Singh praised India’s defence startups for their innovation. He said many startups are contributing to national security. As a result, he expressed confidence that India will become self-reliant in weapons within 15 to 20 years.

He also spoke about artificial intelligence and machine learning. Singh urged people to use new technologies responsibly for national development.

India is now the world’s fourth-largest economy, he said. The country is on track to become the third-largest by 2030. Universities, he added, have a key role in shaping this journey.

In conclusion, Singh advised people to balance self-respect with humility. He said self-respect strengthens society, but arrogance damages it.
