Officials also found that 13 lakh people, who never had Aadhaar cards, have passed away. The EC and UIDAI are working together to remove ghost and duplicate voters. Their goal is to make the voter list accurate and the election process transparent.

Banks are helping in this process. They are giving details of old accounts where KYC has not been updated. This helps find deceased account holders whose names still appear in voter records.

Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are visiting homes to confirm voter details. They are also collecting new forms from residents. So far, officials have distributed over 6.98 crore forms across the state.

The EC has warned strict action against anyone who fails to maintain correct records. In the future, the government will use digital voter verification and Aadhaar-linked roll tracking to build a clean and verified voter list.
