<p data-start="420" data-end="752"><strong data-start="420" data-end="439">Saeed Al Falasi</strong>, Executive Director of DFF, shared the vision during a group interview at the <strong data-start="518" data-end="558">Expand North Star startup exhibition</strong> on Sunday. He praised South Korea’s innovation in AI and emphasized Dubai’s goal of fostering global collaboration in emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and the Internet of Things.</p>
<p data-start="754" data-end="1043">Al Falasi said the foundation promotes the concept of a <strong data-start="810" data-end="836">“commercial diplomat,”</strong> which offers state-level support to startups for greater global access and partnerships. He highlighted ongoing collaboration with the <strong data-start="972" data-end="1013">National Research Foundation of Korea</strong> as part of this initiative<a href="https://www.indiapodcast.com/">.</a></p>
<p data-start="1045" data-end="1369">In September, DFF also signed a <strong data-start="1077" data-end="1114">memorandum of understanding (MoU)</strong> with the <strong data-start="1124" data-end="1175">Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)</strong> to boost cooperation between South Korean startups and UAE government entities. The partnership aims to strengthen bilateral innovation ties and position Dubai as a leading AI innovation hub<a href="http://techinasia.com/news/dubai-eyes-ai-partnerships-with-south-korean-firms#:~:text=Dubai%20is%20seeking%20to%20attract,in%20Dubai%20on%20October%2012.">.</a></p>
