The company announced the orders in a regulatory filing on Monday.

One key project involves engineering, procurement, and construction of a 400 kV substation in the UAE. This substation will strengthen the power grid interconnection among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries. It will ensure better utilisation of generation capacity and improve grid resilience.

In Saudi Arabia, L&T has won a turnkey contract to build 380 kV overhead transmission lines. These lines will support the integration of renewable energy power plants, aligning with the kingdom’s sustainable energy goals. The company also received orders to construct several 132 kV substations across the Middle East to meet growing electricity demand.

L&T, a $30 billion Indian multinational, operates across infrastructure, hi-tech manufacturing, and services. The company is recognized globally for its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) expertise. These new contracts will further expand its presence in the Middle East energy sector.
