The exercise focused on enhancing operational coordination, strengthening interoperability, and building mutual trust between India and the UK. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regional peace, security, and stability, the IAF said in a statement.

The air combat drill followed the successful sea phase of bilateral maritime exercise KONKAN 25 on October 8. The phase involved complex operations, including tactical air warfare, air defence, anti-submarine, and anti-surface warfare, as well as underway replenishment, showcasing the capabilities of both navies.

The Indian Navy deployed INS Vikrant, destroyers INS Surat, INS Mormugao, INS Kolkata, frigates INS Tabar and INS Teg, and other assets. UK ships, including HMS Richmond and HMS Prince of Wales, participated, along with Japanese and Norwegian vessels. Combined exercises emphasized free, open, and secure Indo-Pacific cooperation.
