<p>Sajjala added that while <a href="http://www.indiapodcast.com">former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy</a> had plans to administer from Visakhapatnam , elections prevented that shift. He maintained that if YSRCP had returned to power, both Visakhapatnam and Amaravati would have witnessed development.</p>
<p>On the other hand, he questioned the practicality of large-scale investments in Amaravati, asking whether industries would truly be established in the capital region. Criticizing the financial strain, Sajjala noted that nearly ₹1 lakh crore in debt was already incurred under the name of capital development. He stated that while the central government’s aid is welcome, future planning must avoid wasteful expenditure.</p>
