Commuters noted that bottlenecks still exist at Ganganagar and Mehkri Circle, slowing traffic occasionally. However, outside peak hours, the difference is stark, with bus commuters reaching Baptist Hospital from Jakkur in about 15 minutes. Motorists praised the smoother flow and reduced waiting times compared to earlier congestion.

Traffic officials explained that the new loops allow vehicles from KR Puram, Kodigehalli, and airport directions to move without interruptions. Earlier, stop-and-proceed methods created bottlenecks, requiring 15–20 traffic personnel. Now, only five officers manage the junction efficiently. CCTV monitoring, lane segregation, and volunteer deployment further ensure orderly movement.

Experts say the loops are a temporary solution and recommended widening ORR ramps and improving pedestrian crossings. While metro construction and minor chokepoints still affect traffic, overall travel on the Hebbal flyover has improved, giving motorists a near signal-free experience and reducing daily commute stress.
