Soon after, a video of the Chief Minister’s visit surfaced online with a fake audio track attached. The fabricated audio falsely suggested that BRS party songs were played during the procession. Telangana’s official fact-checking handle, @FactCheck_TG, clarified that the audio was digitally added and did not exist in the original recording.

According to the fact-check, the authentic video only captured ambient sounds of traffic and the crowd. It confirmed that no political songs were played during the CM’s arrival. The department urged citizens not to fall prey to such misinformation campaigns spread on social media platforms.

The clarification post also shared the original video, showing the CM mingling with the public and watching the immersion. Officials stressed the need for vigilance against digital manipulation and reminded people that misinformation during public festivals can create unnecessary tensions.
