Their outreach gained a strong response at the summit and boosted global confidence in Andhra Pradesh.

A total of 613 MoUs were signed covering various sectors, offering 16.31 lakh employment opportunities. Of the total investments, ₹7.63 lakh crore deals were signed in the presence of the Chief Minister. Over 700 B2B meetings were held during the summit, and top corporate groups participated in discussions focused on technology, healthcare, aviation, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, and tourism growth.

The state projected itself as a stable and transparent investment destination. The government now aims to convert MoUs into ground-level implementation through faster infrastructure expansion, skill development, and special technology hubs. The summit positioned Andhra Pradesh as a competitive global investment hub once again.

Ayurveda Day was designated as September 23 by the Ministry of Ayush to create a uniform calendar identity. Earlier, the day varied annually, being observed on Dhanteras. This year’s theme is “Ayurveda for People & Planet,” promoting harmony between individuals and the environment.

Jadhav shared that India’s traditional medicine sector has expanded nearly eightfold in the last decade. The manufacturing sector revenue grew from Rs 21,697 crore in 2014-15 to over Rs 1.37 lakh crore, while the services sector generated Rs 1.67 lakh crore. Exports of AYUSH and herbal products reached $1.54 billion across 150 countries.

The 10th Ayurveda Day main event will be held at the All-India Institute of Ayurveda in Goa. Key initiatives include a nationwide health checkup campaign, DRAVYA Portal for Ayurvedic ingredient data, and new integrated oncology and healthcare facilities in collaboration with Goa Government, AIIA, and Tata Memorial Center. Nationwide and global outreach events are planned to strengthen India’s leadership in holistic health systems.
