The Surat suicide tragedy came to light after neighbours informed police when the family did not respond to calls. The Gujarat SIR Employee Death case highlights the growing stress frontline workers face in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.

On Friday, 45-year-old Ushaben Solanki collapsed while checking voter forms at Pratap Vidyalaya in Sayajiganj. She assisted BLO Vaishaliben Patel during the ongoing SIR exercise. Staff members rushed to help. They first took her to a nearby clinic and later shifted her to Sayaji Hospital in a 108 ambulance. Doctors tried to save her, but she did not survive.

Ushaben worked at Gorwa ITI and joined the SIR team temporarily. Many employees say the workload keeps rising. They struggle with long hours, rising stress, and limited support.

Her death came a day after a BLO in Gir Somnath district died by suicide. His note mentioned emotional exhaustion due to SIR duties. The back-to-back tragedies sparked anger and fear among workers.

Family members reached the hospital in shock. Colleagues gathered and demanded safety measures, medical assistance, and fair workload policies. Political leaders and unions also called for urgent government action.

Officials have not issued a detailed response yet. Employees want immediate reforms to protect lives and prevent more tragedies.

The Ram Mandir Flag Ready moment has created excitement ahead of November 25, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist it atop the Ayodhya temple. The Ram Mandir Flag Ready news also highlights the craftsmanship behind this historic symbol, which took nearly 25 days to create in Ahmedabad.

An 80-year-old parachute-manufacturing company in Gujarat designed the flag. Engineers selected special parachute fabric and silk threads so the flag can withstand strong wind, harsh sunlight, rain, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. The flag measures 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width, making it visually grand without compromising durability.

It will rise on a 42-foot mast, supported by a 360-degree rotating chamber fitted with ball bearings. This design helps the flag move freely in high wind and prevents tearing. The company treated the fabric to reduce weather impact and ensure long-term strength.

Craftsmen worked continuously, checking every stitch, colour, and fold to match the temple’s spiritual significance. Officials believe the flag will add dignity and devotion to the Ayodhya celebration.

For many, the flag represents engineering, faith, national pride, and the cultural legacy surrounding the Ram Mandir.

The Bhupendra Patel Changes Programme story has moved many in Gujarat. The Bhupendra Patel Changes Programme incident unfolded after the Chief Minister learned that his scheduled government event in Jamnagar clashed with a Hindu family’s wedding ceremony. Instead of letting the programme disturb their celebration, he personally called the family and assured them that he would shift his event.

The Parmar family had booked the town hall months ago for their daughter’s wedding on November 23. Days before the ceremony, they received word that a CM programme could take over the venue. With no alternate place available, the family informed the Chief Minister’s Office. Bhupendra Patel responded immediately, asked them not to worry, and changed his schedule.

Villagers praised the CM for his empathy, saying he prioritised people’s happiness over political optics. Patel also warned the administration to ensure future events do not inconvenience citizens, especially during personal occasions like weddings.

Supporters highlighted that this gesture reflects the CM’s simple and people-first style, seen earlier in his governance decisions. The family expressed relief and gratitude, saying the call felt like a blessing before the ceremony.

For many, the moment became a reminder that leadership grows stronger with compassion.

The bold posters appeared in the chamber of officer Suryakant Singh, who asked citizens to stop offering bribes and allow him to perform his duties with honesty. The message of the Gujarat No Bribe Posters movement has drawn attention because it comes a year after the tragic Rajkot Game Zone fire, where 28 people died.

The officer stated clearly that he earns a good salary for his work and does not need extra money from anyone. He told visitors not to embarrass him by offering bribes and reminded them that honest work does not require rewards or favours.

Several posters on his wall carry lines inspired by Gujarati writer Gunwant Shah. The messages encourage people to follow rules, respect public offices, and trust lawful procedures. They highlight that citizens and officers share the same responsibility to strengthen the system.

The posters also say that refusing improper work is not an insult but a duty. Singh believes honest communication can build better trust between people and the administration.

The sudden spotlight on these posters shows a growing demand for clean, transparent governance in Gujarat.

The case, now known as the Husband Shoots Wife Over Affair incident, has shaken the local community. Police said the man returned home from his yoga class and confronted his wife after learning about her relationship with her nephew. The argument grew heated, and he fired at her in anger.

The man’s actions show how jealousy and distrust can push a person toward extreme violence. Neighbours rushed to the house after hearing gunshots, but the man had already turned the gun on himself.

Relatives told investigators that the couple often argued about the alleged affair. The man felt humiliated and believed his marriage had collapsed beyond repair. His emotional state worsened in recent weeks, which created more tension inside the home.

Police found a suicide note that explained his frustration and heartbreak. Officers urged people to seek help during emotional crises and reminded families to report rising domestic conflicts before they escalate. The Husband Shoots Wife Over Affair tragedy highlights how lack of communication and rising anger can destroy lives within minutes.

According to officials, an unidentified person sent an email to the official ID of the Gujarat High Court in the morning. The mail claimed that RDX had been planted in the court building located on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway in Ahmedabad.

Sola police inspector K.N. Bhukan said that after Gujarat High Court gets bomb threat information, police teams, dog squads, and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad rushed to the spot. They scanned all courtrooms, chambers, parked cars, and incoming vehicles without disturbing the proceedings.

After a thorough search, the officials confirmed that nothing suspicious was found on the premises. This was the third bomb threat received by the Gujarat High Court since June this year.

The authorities are now investigating the source of the email to trace the sender. Meanwhile, security arrangements at the High Court have been strengthened to avoid any disruptions in the future.

He stepped in after C.P. Radhakrishnan resigned from the post following his election as Vice President of India.

Devavrat took oath and officially assumed his new role. At 66, he has already completed five years as Gujarat Governor, a position he has held since July 22, 2019. Known as a strong supporter of natural farming, he has led awareness campaigns across Gujarat and several other states.

Between August 2015 and July 2019, he served as Governor of Himachal Pradesh. During that tenure, he promoted natural agriculture, cow protection, breed improvement, social harmony, water conservation, and the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program. He also encouraged afforestation and anti-addiction drives.

As Chancellor of Gujarat’s 24 state universities, he has played a key role in education. His appointment as Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapeeth in October 2022 sparked debate. Now, with the Maharashtra role, Devavrat is expected to balance responsibilities in both states while continuing his work in governance and social causes.
