The GRP conducted year-long data analysis to identify accident-prone stretches. Station in-charges were instructed to study accident reports regularly, mark sensitive locations, increase on-ground surveillance and ensure immediate intervention. Officials said micro-level monitoring played a crucial role in reducing casualties.

Large-scale awareness campaigns were also run around railway tracks, targeting nearby residents, labourers, shopkeepers, pedestrians and students. People crossing the tracks were stopped, counselled about the risks, and guided toward safer alternatives.

District-wise, Gurugram recorded 121 deaths (down from 149), Faridabad 284 (down from 305), Rewari 152 (down from 170) and Sonepat 97 (down from 138). Panipat reported 160 cases, Karnal 48, and Bahadurgarh saw a decline from 88 to 58.
