The victim, a local ration dealer, was alone at home during the attack. Her child was reportedly in another part of the house, while other family members had stepped out. Neighbours rushed in after hearing screams, but the attackers had already fled.

Police reached the spot soon after getting information. Officers collected evidence and began questioning people in the area. They are also checking CCTV footage to trace the suspects.

The murder has created fear in the neighbourhood. Police officials say they are investigating all possible angles and will arrest the culprits soon.
