]]> The Andhra Pradesh government has renewed its focus on the TIDCO housing development plan, aiming to fulfil the long-pending dream of owning a home for poor and middle-class families. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that the government is committed to completing stalled housing projects and handing them over to beneficiaries quickly.

During the previous TDP rule, more than three lakh houses were started, and many reached advanced construction stages. The current administration is now pushing to finish the remaining units without delay. Officials are monitoring progress closely under the supervision of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Narayana.

The government is constructing houses in 300, 365 and 430 square-foot categories. All essential amenities are being provided as part of the project. The administration has cleared ₹140 crore in pending dues to restart works that had stalled during the earlier regime. This move has helped regain momentum in several housing clusters.

Chief Minister Naidu announced a target of constructing 17 lakh houses within the next three years. Families with their own land will also receive financial assistance to build homes. The government says it wants to ensure that homeownership becomes a reality for every eligible poor and middle-class family in the state.
