Security agencies quickly responded and tightened safety across the assembly complex. The Bihar Vidhan Sabha Bomb Threat also raised concern because similar emails recently targeted courts in the state.

Officials said the email warned about a possible bomb attack on the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Soon after the alert, security personnel increased surveillance and began a thorough search of the entire premises. Police teams checked every corner of the complex to ensure safety.

Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar held an emergency meeting with officials and directed them to strengthen security. Cyber experts have started an investigation to trace the sender of the threatening email.

In the past month, several courts in Bihar, including Patna Civil Court, also received bomb threat emails. Security agencies carried out searches in those locations but did not find any explosives.

Authorities remain on high alert while the investigation continues.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh recently sparked controversy in Bihar. He claimed India’s 1947 partition happened on religious lines. Muslims moved to Pakistan, and Hindus stayed in India. Singh argued that if Hindus had stayed together, leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav would not have risen in politics.

Singh criticized Congress and RJD for ignoring the effects of partition. He said these parties silence the history of the split and prevent future leaders from understanding it. Singh emphasized that political leaders should face historical facts.

Opposition parties, including Congress and RJD, quickly condemned his remarks. They accused Singh of using the sensitive topic for political advantage. However, Singh defended his views. He argued it is important to acknowledge the truth about India’s past.

This controversy adds fuel to the ongoing battle between the BJP and opposition parties, especially on issues related to Pakistan’s role in India’s history.
