Political observers say Paras’ remarks may signal a possible reunion between RLJP and LJP (Ram Vilas), though Chirag Paswan has not yet reacted publicly.

The Nitish Kumar security increased decision has been announced by the Bihar Home Department. Authorities confirmed that Nitish Kumar will receive Z Plus security, one of the highest levels of protection in India. Officials issued the order after reviewing his security needs and political position.

The Nitish Kumar security increased move comes as the veteran leader prepares for a major political shift. He has recently been elected to the Rajya Sabha and may step down as Chief Minister in the coming weeks. Authorities decided to maintain strong security even after he leaves the post.

The Bihar Home Department said the decision was taken under the Bihar Special Security Act, 2000 after assessing potential threats. Officials have instructed police and security agencies to implement the upgraded cover immediately.

Z Plus security is one of the highest protection categories in India. It usually includes around 50–55 trained personnel, including NSG commandos and local police, who guard the leader around the clock.

With this decision, the government aims to ensure strong protection for Nitish Kumar during the upcoming political transition.

During a campaign speech in Kerala, the RJD leader described Bihar as the poorest state in India while comparing it with Kerala’s progress in health and education. The Bihar poor state remark quickly became a topic of political debate.

Leaders of the Janata Dal (United) strongly criticized the statement. They said the comment insulted the people of Bihar and demanded that Tejashwi Yadav apologize for his words.

JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha also attacked Yadav’s family. He claimed that Tejashwi’s parents, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, were responsible for damaging Bihar’s economy when they ruled the state.

Tejashwi Yadav made the statement while campaigning in Kerala for candidates supported by his party, the Rashtriya Janata Dal, which is contesting a few assembly seats in alliance with the Left Democratic Front.
