On Parliament’s role, Khurshid urged for an immediate session to discuss the blast, intelligence lapses, and the government’s ‘new normal doctrine’ regarding future terror attacks. He stated, “In a responsible way, in a responsible place, let us talk about what is happening and why it is happening again and again despite all the profound statements made by this government.”

His remarks underscore the Congress’ demand for government accountability, improved security measures, and clarity on foreign policy, reflecting concerns over both domestic and international strategic management under the Modi government.
