Minister Nara Lokesh said the AP–Singapore MoU marks the beginning of an excellent journey. He thanked the Singapore Government for giving Andhra Pradesh a second chance to collaborate.</p>
<p data-start="593" data-end="924">Lokesh stated that under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s experienced leadership, Andhra Pradesh will achieve rapid growth. He added that the state hopes to match Singapore’s pace of development in the coming years. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in several key sectors that support long-term progress.</p>
<p data-start="926" data-end="1259">Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Industry, Gan Soh Hong, expressed confidence that the bond between AP and Singapore would grow stronger through this partnership. He said the state should move toward becoming a healthy, wealthy, and happy society through strategic reforms and modern practices.</p>
<p data-start="1261" data-end="1638">Gan Soh Hong explained that both sides are entering agreements in sustainable development, digital transformation, and urban governance. He noted that these areas would elevate AP’s progress and help create efficient systems. The collaboration is expected to boost innovation, improve governance, and support a stronger economic framework for Andhra Pradesh.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="240" data-end="572">India has reaffirmed its strong commitment to the Global South by sending a consignment of Anti-Retro Viral (ARV) drugs to Fiji. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that this shipment will strengthen Fiji’s public health programme and boost cooperation in healthcare between both nations.</p>
<p data-start="574" data-end="874">In August, Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Both leaders held comprehensive talks on bilateral relations and discussed global and regional issues. They agreed to expand collaboration in defence, health, agriculture, trade, culture, and education.</p>
<p data-start="876" data-end="1185">Prime Minister Modi welcomed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Recognition of Indian Pharmacopoeia, which will help Fiji access affordable medicines. He also reiterated India’s plan to help establish <em data-start="1096" data-end="1118">Jan Aushadhi Kendras</em> (People’s Pharmacies) in Fiji to provide low-cost generic drugs<a href="https://www.indiapodcast.com/">.</a></p>
<p data-start="1187" data-end="1519">PM Modi further announced that India would build a 100-bed super-specialty hospital in Suva. Dialysis units, sea ambulances, and Jaipur Foot camps will also be set up to ensure accessible healthcare for all.
